Bathmawathy is a Self-taught Wildlife artist based in Coimbatore, India. During the Covid outbreak, she found her passion for art and specializes in oil paint, acrylic paint, resin, pastels, charcoal and gold leaf. Bathmawathy creates art to raise awareness about the importance of preserving wildlife and their habitats, capturing the emotion of each creature through their eyes. She has won numerous awards for her artwork, including the Gold medal award in the FAG International art competition, Bronze award in the  Camelback gallery ‘Into the Wild’ competition and the Special Recognition award in the Light Space Time ‘11th Nature’ Art competition, among others. Bathmawathy has also been featured in the Top 100 artists worldwide in the Hashtag Kalakar Art Competition and among the Top 50 renowned artists in the Magzoid Art Magazine, Dubai. Bathmawathy believes that animals are often neglected and hunted down for their parts or lose their homes due to human interference and negligence. Through her art, she brings these creatures to life on the canvas, demonstrating their beauty and importance to the world.
