My name is Linda Paterson and I’m an Artist living and working in the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park in Scotland. I have a BA Honours in Fine Art, specialising in Drawing & Painting from Gray’s School of Art. I’ve been working in Art education for the past 30 years, initially secondary education, moving into Further Education 26 years ago.

While I always kept sketchbooks, I had a long break from creating my own art however felt the pull to begin again around 4 years ago. Following my return to Art practice, I have mainly worked on portrait and pet portrait commissions and I work under the name of LindaPArty.

I work in a variety of mediums, oils, acrylics, pastels, charcoal and also digital drawing and painting (using mainly Procreate with my Apple Pencil on my I-Pad).

In addition to my commission work I have a range of animal based cards, prints and gifts created from my artwork that I sell online and via Craft Fayres.

My surroundings never fail to inspire me, living in Scotland the dramatic scenery and extensive wildlife are everywhere from red squirrels in our garden to majestic stags on the hillside. I seek to capture the essence and personality of every animal I draw or paint whether it’s someone’s much loved dog or one of the stunning Highland Cows along the road from where I live.
