Julie is a thoroughbred local Yorkshire lass who hails from the dizzy heights of Queensbury village. As an artist she is mostly self-taught, backed-up by several vocational art courses, courtesy of London Art College and inspired by instructional books on coloured pencil painting. Influenced and supported by internationally acclaimed coloured pencil artists, she has won awards for her work and continues to emerge as a commissioned artist with wildlife and animal portraits amongst her growing art portfolio.
