Amber Tyldesley

Born in 1994, Amber L. Tyldesley is an animal artist based in Warrington, UK.

She graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2015 with first-class honours in English, and has since begun to pursue her passion for the arts professionally. Working predominantly in acrylics, her artwork derives from a fascination with the intricate details, textures and colours found within the natural world.

In her first time entering an international competition, Amber was shortlisted for the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation ‘Wildlife Artist of the Year’ award 2016. This resulted in her shortlisted entry “Inseparable” being exhibited at the prestigious Mall Galleries in London. The painting sold prior to the opening night, raising over £200.00 for wildlife conservation projects. Amber also exhibited at the Association of Animal Artists’ 2016 Annual Exhibition, where she was awarded the Visitors’ Choice prize for her painting “The Snow Queen”.

Alongside wildlife and equestrian artwork, Amber enjoys completing pet portrait commissions for both UK and international clients.  She also looks forward to her first solo exhibition which is due to take place at Garstang Arts Centre (Lancashire, UK) during November 2017.
