I have always loved art, and perusing galleries, but it was not until recent years where I put paint to canvas and had a go myself.  I haven’t looked back since.

I am a self-taught visual artist with no formal training.

A great passion of mine is animals. I am fascinated by them, by their colourings, their eyes and wonder what they are thinking… leading again to many photographs when I’m out and about of any creature that capture my eye.

I often work with acrylics for my landscape paintings and usually a mixed media style for my animal pieces, where I often use pastels of various forms or, sometimes, just the humble pencil will suffice.

I enjoy experimenting with different styles and mediums and enjoy working on abstract pieces where I find myself without restrictions, which can be quite liberating !
