I’m Cheryl, a wildlife artist based in Nottingham. My art is inspired by my love for animals and I strive to capture their unique beauty and personality in each drawing that I create. My style is realism and coloured pencils are my medium of choice. 

Each piece takes many hours to create, with gradual layering of pencil to produce a realistic effect. While I am drawing I spend a lot of time closely studying the appearance of the animal, down to the tiniest details. This process never fails to fill me with a sense of awe, and also a feeling of connection to the animal.
