I am a self taught artist and started drawing at a very early age, always with a focus on wildlife. I continued to paint and draw during my life whenever I had the time, but other things got in the way as they tend to do, and I only made the decision to change to art as a career in 2021.

Over the years I've tried different media but have always been drawn to black and white art, which can be so eye-catching and expressive. I mainly use graphite and carbon pencil drawing to achieve the look I want. I have always had a keen interest in and knowledge of the natural world, which led me to study zoology at university and so wildlife art enables me to combine two of my greatest passions.

My work has been exhibited in the Art Department in Paisley (Big Art Show), the RBSA in Birmingham (RBSA Drawing Prize) and the Mall Galleries in London (Society of Graphic Fine Art Open Exhibition)
