Siobhan Duggan, Irish Artist
I work with pastel, watercolour, and oil to bring the spirit and character of animals to life, capturing their essence in a way that resonates with those who share my love for the natural world.
Growing up in the countryside of North County Cork, I spent my days exploring fields and soaking in the beauty of the landscape. This connection to nature has deeply influenced my work, infusing it with a sense of wonder and authenticity.
Background
I developed my artistic skills at Limerick College of Art and Design, graduating with a degree in graphic design. However, my true passion lies in painting, especially capturing the beauty of animals.
After running a successful design business, my love for art led me back to the easel. Now based near Macroom, Co. Cork, I continue to create in my studio, inspired by the landscapes and animals around me.
Artistic Journey & Recognition
One of my proudest moments was when one of my animal paintings was presented to the President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins.
