I live in South Cumbria, in the UK,  near to the beautiful Lakeland fells.

 I have drawn and painted for most of my life and have taken water colour classes and more recently oil painting classes.

 I mainly like to paint wildlife but have recently painted several dogs ,cats and horses and really enjoyed it.

 I am inspired by many things, from the wildlife in my garden and surroundings to images and photographs I see. When I find something I am drawn to I paint it.

 My artistic ambitions are to eventually paint full time, even if it is when I retire! and to carry on painting what I love. I would also like to try some different mediums. Oils are relatively new to me and I love working with them but I still have a lot to learn.
