Hi, my name is Alessi and I am a pet & wildlife artist working primarily in coloured pencil, creating highly detailed, realistic animal portraits. 

My work once focused on graphite and ink, and I never believed I could master the art of coloured pencil. After more than 10 years away from art due to life commitments, I picked up coloured pencils in 2024 and was in awe of what I could create. What began as a hobby quickly became a part time business, allowing me to offer commissions, originals, prints & more. 

The most rewarding part of my work is seeing the moment people realise they are looking at a drawing, not a photograph, and hearing that I have captured the true personality of a beloved pet. 

I am honoured to be a part of Association of Animal Artists and look forward to upcoming events, especially the charity auctions.
