I have done artistic things all my life, I've worked in television drama as well as for orchestras and at arts centres, I've been a chef, and a potter.
But I only started to paint a couple of years ago, in my 70s.  But it'snever too late.  I work in pastels, I love the tangible softness, the purecolours, and the precision that can be achieved.  All my subjects arewildlife; animals and birds from many part of the globe, often concentrating on those that are endangered, as a way of drawing attention to their plight.
