I am self-taught soft pastel and acrylic artist based in Northamptonshire. 

 Animals have always been a huge part of my life from having numerous pets including rabbits, guinea pigs, dogs and horses.  I am passionate about protecting wildlife in the UK and abroad. 

 After a career in interior design, I continued to be interested in art, often turning to pyrography or graphite pencil for my sketches.  Developing my art skills, I experimented with different media and discovered painting in soft pastels and acrylic paint to be totally addictive.  After being encouraged by many people asking me to do commissions of their animals or houses, I realised that art had to be my only focus, so made life changes to make this happen.  I now have a fabulous studio at home, where I can dedicate myself fully to my craft.  Art is my happy place and makes me totally fulfilled.
