I’m Charlie Robbins, 28, self taught, coloured pencil artist based in Nottingham, UK. 

From school until my early twenties I worked with horses, I would occasionally draw one of the clients horses on the yard and gift it to them, often receiving compliments but never thought to make anything of it. 

Drawing is something I’ve always come back to year on year and brings me so much joy. I had always drawn with graphite pencil until 2023, when I taught myself how to use coloured pencils. 

In 2023, being a mum to my two year old daughter, I decided to turn my art into a business. I specialise in horse and dog pet portraits, alongside wildlife drawings. 

My wildlife drawings are available as greeting cards and prints on my website. 

I take on pet commissions throughout the year, often booked at least 3 months in advance, enquires through social media, email or my website.
