My name is Elisabeth - I am a professionally trained ecologist as well as a wildlife artist. I love to

spend my time outdoors and I have always been fascinated and inspired by the natural world around

us. Additionally, drawing is a passion of mine. So combining all these facts together, I I try to

capture the beauty of nature and all the creatures in it using my drawings.

I mainly use colour pencils and pastels. My aim is to create realistic drawings that capture the

charm and individuality of the chosen animal. My general focus is on European wildlife. With my

drawings I want to raise awareness of the challenges wildlife animals are facing in today’s world.

My artwork is dedicated to nature conservation, endangered species and any other issues regarding

biodiversity and environmental protection. On my website I provide some background information
