Gwenda Jones is a UK Midlands based ceramic sculptor exploring the deep connections between humans, animals, and the natural world. Growing up in rural Oxfordshire, she developed a profound love for horses, farming, and wildlife, with global travels in Europe, America, Africa, Asia and their Indigenous wildlife, constant inspiration. Her sculptural portraits and figures capture the strength, spirit, and individuality of animals capturing their resilience and complex relationships with their environment.

With a background in Three-Dimensional Design (BA Hons) and a history of industry awards recognition, Gwenda’s sculptures embrace texture meets form, layered colours, movement and expressive details to evoke emotion and invite reflection. She often explores themes of coexistence, identity, and the impact of humanity on nature.

Her work is published and exhibited in selected and invited group exhibitions, with pieces held in private collections in the UK and USA. She also runs inclusive workshops and demonstrations, sharing her passion for art, clay and sculpture with diverse audiences, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Through her expressive art, Gwenda aims to celebrate the enduring spirit of animal and human connections while fostering a deeper appreciation for the natural world we share.
