Kim is based in Staffordshire UK, and is a wildlife and nature enthusiast, who has loved making art her whole life. Since 2025, she has been working with clients to create portraits of pets, farm animals and wildlife. She mainly works with acrylic paints, but she also uses watercolour, watercolour pencils, and ink. Her portraits are created in a detailed, realistic style, with an emphasis on light and colour. Her paintings typically feature landscape or domestic backgrounds, which put the subject in a familiar or memorable setting, and the use of contrast helps the subjects to ‘pop’ from the painting.
Kim’s wildlife portraits feature primarily British native wildlife, and she is working towards a series of portraits dedicated to the wildlife of Cannock Chase. She hopes to use her art to support charities that support British wildlife and nature conservation, and to raise awareness of the beauty, diversity and importance of the natural world.
Outside of her art practice, Kim is involved in her local community group, where she organises regular litter picks, and has been actively involved in the creation of a community orchard, a pollinator meadow, and a native hedgerow - all in local public spaces.
