Mark is a self taught artist born locally and who has lived in Axminster, Devon all his life, Axminster itself borders on the Dorset and Somerset counties which brings countless opportunities and inspiration for Mark’s detailed pastel landscapes, which are inspired by the coastline and picturesque areas on his doorstep.

Mark homed his skills carrying out commission work as a portrait and landscape artist specialising to acheive a photographic look using pastels and pencils.

Since 2020 when MArk started to take his passion and hobby to the next level to become a professional artists he has won the Gold UK Artists November Award 2021 and more recently reached the finals of Art Unlimitred UK Artist Competition 2022.
