my name is Marilyn and I am a contemporary wildlife artist from the Lower Rhine region in Western Germany.

I create detailed, expressive fine art, mostly in acrylics on canvas, dedicated to celebrating and protecting nature. I often portray native wildlife, which I love observing during my time in the wild. My realistic paintings and drawings are inspired by unforgettable moments in nature and moving conservation stories.

For me, art is a powerful voice for nature. I aim to evoke positive emotions, sparking wonder and curiosity while reminding us of the quiet beauty surrounding us. I deeply believe that we only protect what we value, and giving wildlife greater visibility is at the heart of everything I do.

Art and active conservation go hand in hand in my work. I regularly support conservation initiatives through my sales and projects, including organizations such as NABU (Germany’s largest nature conservation association) and internationally renowned initiatives like Remembering Wildlife to protect endangered species and restore habitats. I am also a proud member of the International Guild of Realism (IGOR), dedicated to capturing the fine details and timeless beauty of the animal kingdom with the highest level of craftsmanship.

Whether working on original collections or bespoke commissions, my goal is to create soulful art for people who care deeply about wildlife, bringing the magic of the natural world into their homes and hearts.
