I am a self taught artist living in North Yorkshire with my little dog. I have developed my painting  technique through tutorials with established artists and books. Great artists like Ingres and John Singer Sergant have always inspired me. Oil is a medium that I love using. It gives me the opportunity to work on details without drying too quickly. I am always trying to capture a bit of the animal's soul within the painting.

Animals have always been a great source of inspiration and a passion. Therefore it has become my favourite subject. I also take commissions for pet portraits. 

I am part of the committee at the Harrogate and Nidderdale art club. In 2024, I became a member of the Association of animal artists. My work has been exhibited in the UK, Bermuda, France and Belgium. You can view my art on instagram under nathaliebos_
