Tony is originally from Liverpool, and lived and worked there untill the late nineties, before moving to Cheshire around fifteen years ago. Having taken early retirement, he achieved a B.A.[Hons]in his late fifties and from that point, started a new career in sculpture.
He preferres to work in copper and his skill is in capturing movement, usually in animals, with horses being a particular specialty.
He has completed several public sculptures and has many pieces in private collections ranging from Lever Faberge to Cherie Blair, but is particularly proud of a life size piece displayed between a Henry Moore and an Elizabeth Frink in the permanent collection in The Atkinson art gallery in Southport. His carreer continues to progress, and he has been included in the ‘Who’s Who In Art’ around two years ago.
Tony is happy to accept commissions on any scale and on any subject, as he feels the challenge of a new subject motivates him to produce something special.
