My first goal as a self-taught artist as always been to transmit my love and knowledge of animals, especially cats, through my drawings.  I always try to bring out their personality and portray their true nature, so it shows in their expression, body language as well interactions with each other.

I work mainly with colour pencils because of their precision and neatness on coloured Pastelmat boards, my favourite surface for the past 2 years.

Anyone can draw an animal head, but if you know the animal very well, you can infuse some “life” in it and create “a moment”, something that speaks to you and whoever is looking at it.  This is what I am trying to achieve with my drawings and teachings these days.
