SUBJECT OF CHOICE Birds and small mammals living in my own local area.

MEDIUM OF CHOICE Mainly coloured pencils, though I use pastel for backgrounds if I include them.

WHAT INSPIRES YOU? I love colour and detail because we often don’t get to observe it at close quarters as the birds and small mammal’s I draw are so fast.

DO YOU HAVE ANY ARTISTIC AMBITIONS THAT YOU ARE WORKING TOWARDS? I would love to have a solo exhibition that is well attended. I’d love, one of my artworks to win an award. Finally, I would like to like to write a book about the wildlife in the Teesside area, and how many species have recovered their numbers, or returned to the area after years of absence. It would be an added bonus to have the forward written by a son of Teesside like Ridley Scott or Bob Mortimer.
