My name is Katrine Tansley, and I am the founder of Beau’s Studio, which is named in honour of my cherished dog, Beau. Beau remains a continual source of inspiration for my artistic journey.

I am a self-taught artist residing in South Derbyshire, UK, with a special interest in graphite art. Although I have enjoyed drawing as a hobby for many years, it was only in 2025 that I made a conscious effort to push myself further and share my creations with a broader audience.

Alongside my artistic pursuits, I work full time as a nursing lecturer. Creating artwork in my spare moments is a passion that I deeply value and hope to continue for many years. I particularly enjoy capturing the likeness of beloved pets on paper, and I am always delighted by the reactions of those for whom I have created these drawings.
