Did You Have Any Formal Training?: I did “O & A” levels in Art, Textiles, Graphics, Photography, Pottery, Life Drawing etc at Halton College 30years ago. 

Subject Of Choice: Wildlife and Pet Portraits 

Medium Of Choice: Pastels, but starting to play with Acrylics 

What Inspires You?: I have only recently returned to art in 2017, however always had a great love of animals. I try to get a personality in the face in a realistic way. I am lucky in my job that I work in the great outdoors, getting to go to Chester zoo , Knowsley Safari park and other small animals park throughout Cheshire on a Regular basis, which is great for creativity. 

Do You Have Any Artistic Ambitions That You Are Working Towards, If So What Are They?: Painting has already helped me through serious illness these last few years and enjoyment of seeing my work on a art gallery wall, and luckily I’ve sold a few pieces which has given me so much pleasure. So I am now starting to enter competitions and trying to push myself out of my comfort zone.
